Grass fed beef cheeks are my absolute favourite! They’re a fatty cut that is really nutrient dense - high in protein, rich in collagen and loaded with iron.
Each 1 litre tub has 2 beef cheeks inside, enough for four people. They’re cooked until tender in a beef bone broth sauce, with raisins for sweetness, onion and garlic for prebiotics and carrot and sweet potatoes to round out your meal.
I’d love to hear your feedback on this meal as I’m thinking it’ll find a permanent spot on the Golden Days menu!
Serving suggestions:
Serve over mashed potato (I like my mash with some cauliflower in it too!)
Serve alongside brassicas like broccoli or kale
Add a cooked grain like buckwheat, black rice or even some butter beans!
Ingredients:
Grass fed beef cheeks, beef bone broth, sweet potato, carrot, zucchini, onion, garlic, olive oil, raisins, almond meal, rosemary, thyme, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper.
