I’m whipping out my favourite recipes in small batches to keep the creative juices flowing and give you guys some opportunities to break out from the Golden Days classics you already love.
This week is one of my favourite dinners - my Masoor Dahl.
It’s made with red lentils, fresh tomatoes and lots of lime, so you’re not left with the heaviness you sometimes get after a big bowl of legumes!
Each meal will also come with a serve of cumin rice as well as my very favourite papadums.
Special note — if you’d prefer just the Dahl on its own, please order the other Masoor Dahl that is in a jar that is already on my website. It will come fresh this week too, ready to eat or freeze.
Ingredients
Red lentils, water, tomato, onion, garlic, ginger, lime, coconut oil, cumin seeds, turmeric, coriander, salt, garam masala (coriander, black pepper, ginger, cinnamon, yellow chilli, cardamom amomum, cloves, nutmeg, fenugreek leaves, mace, caraway, cardamom green)
+ cumin seeds, basmati rice, coconut oil
+ cumin pappadums
+ fresh coriander
